Lawrence Carpenter, M.D.
Dr. Carpenter received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans, La. He then completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He has been a partner in one of Mobile’s foremost obstetrics and gynecology groups, Mobile Bay OBGYN, since 1998. Dr. Carpenter has furthered his training in the areas of weightloss medicine and skin care.
Along with being a fellow in the American Academy of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he holds memberships in the American Academy of Bariatric Physicians, the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons.Dr. Carpenter lives in Mobile with his wife and two sons.
Renee Wheeler
Renee is a Certified Medical Assistant with a degree from Remington College. She has been a member of the Aesthetics & Weightloss staff since 2011. Renee specializes in helping our patients reach their weightloss goals. She performs EKG’s, handles weekly weigh-ins, and gives injections. She also assists Dr. Carpenter during Hormone Pellet Procedures. Renee lives in Theodore with her husband of 15 years and their two sons.
Kayla Lovelace
Kayla joined Aesthetics & Weightloss in 2016 as our front desk receptionist. Since that time, Kayla has trained under Dr. Carpenter and is certified to perform skin care treatments including lasers, chemical peels, and microneedling.
